Eco Formula

EcoFormula - Hydroxypropyl-Chitosan (HPCH) 1.0% - is a hydro-soluble lacquer indicated for improving the appearance of dry, brittle and damaged nails; particularly those affected by longitudinal ridges, lamellar splitting and nail fragility. The active ingredient is HPCH (Hydroxypropyl-chitosan), a protein which is specifically formulated to advance overall nail health.

There are 2 main sources of nail damage:
  1. Water: hand-washing. Nails are 1000 times more permeable to water than skin, therefore they are more prone to water damage.

  2. Solvents: nail polish and/or polish remover. Harsh chemicals are known to compromise and breakdown the nail matrix.

Clinical Results:*

  • Lamellar splitting: 81% of patients experienced improvement after 28 days
  • Nail fragility: 90% of patients experienced improvement after 28 days
  • Roughness: 28% of patients experienced reduction of nail roughness within 14 days
